November Double Page Sketch Challenge from Stick It Down

Wow! Here we are in November already! Thanksgiving is right around the corner!

Because Thanksgiving is almost here, I bet you’ve had some family memories come to mind. Here’s a great sketch from Stick It Down to document some of those memories!

I decided to use some photos from our family’s reunion last summer for this challenge!

Here’s what I came up with:

Kind of a fun page right?! I had a leftover flowery cut file from another project and thought it would be the perfect addition to this layout! I used Echo Park’s “Hello Again” line for all the paper and embellishments!

Thanks for swinging by my blog and taking a peek! I’d love to hear your thoughts and comments!

October FUN!

Ok. I think I’ve decided fall scrapbooking is my absolute favorite. I seriously can’t think of a topic or season I like to document more….and I have definitely done my fair share of scrapping Fall 2021 this month (I’m always a year or more behind!).

Here’s what I’ve been working on:

All of these layouts were created using Simple Stories’ Cozy Days collection. I fell in love last year when I saw this collection and knew that it would be perfect for these photos! So I’ve waited a year to use it, but it was so worth it!

Also, Paige Evans has the BEST cut files, so all those cut files and stitching files in my layouts—yep credit belongs to her.

Thanks for swinging by my blog and checking out my designs. I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comment section below! Hope you get to document some fun fall layouts yourself!

October Fun Challenges!

Hello again! Just wanted to pop on and share a few other pages that I’ve been working on this month! I love fall so much and so of course I wanted to scrapbook some fall-related themes.

Rochelle Spears and Stacy had great challenges up on their blogs. So I took Rochelle’s sketch and Stacy’s bingo board (ink splatters, plaid and tabs) and combined them for a cute layout. Here is Rochelle’s sketch and Stacy’s Bingo Board, in case you want to play along:

Here’s what I came up with! I love scrapbooking my little girl!

I used Simple Stories’ Cozy Days line and a cut file from Paige Evans to complete the layout. Love that this memory is no preserved forever! 🙂

I also played around with some ink and a cut file on another fall themed layout! This one isn’t a part of any challenge, but I figured you might like to see it anyway!

I love the movement that the stitching gave the page. Hopefully, it looks like the leaves are falling down!

Again, this was from Simple Stories’ line “Cozy Day” and the cut file from Paige Evans.

Thanks again for swinging by my little spot in the universe! I hope you get to scrapbook and be creative today!

October Double Page Sketch from Stick It Down

Happy beautiful October friends! How many Pumpkin Spice Lattes have you consumed already? Me….I lost count 😉 Mhhhmmm…fall flavors are the best.

Today I get to reveal a new sketch and page to you lovely friends of Stick IT Down:

Very fall themed sketch isn’t it? It’s a fun one! Here’s what I ended up doing with it:

I’ve been diligently trying to scrapbook our family reunion from last summer. As fun as these pictures are, they are wearing on me a little because I have so many other projects I want to get to (like my Hawaii photos!!!). One page at a time though!

I hope you get to join us for this challenge and that you get another layout finished up too! Time in my scrapbook cave (with a pumpkin spice latte in hand!) is my happy place during the month of October!

September Scrapbook Challenges:

I’ve been scrapping up a storm, trying to finish up Summer 2021 events! Here are a few layouts that I’m entering in some scrapbook challenges!

First up, ChallengeYOUrself had a fun challenge to celebrate good times! Whoo!

I decided to scrap about a family reunion that we attended last summer. Here’s a layout of my grandma, cousin and myself! Love these ladies!

Next up, Scrap Our Stash had a similar challenge of scrapping someone who inspires you! I had to share this layout of my little girl. She inspires me everyday with her joy and love for LIFE!

I have been hoarding this daisy paper (Daisies are my favorite flower) to scrap the cutest picture of her I can. I found these pictures of her in her daisy swimsuit and thought it was the time to use it 😉

I’m hoping I can sneak a few more layouts in this month! Scrapbooking is an area that I am never fully caught up in haha! But, that’s part of the fun! Happy Scrapping!

September Double Page Sketch from Stick It Down

We have summer in the rearview mirror now and fall is on the way!

Here’s a new sketch from our double page team at Stick It Down. Hope you join us this month!

Here’s my take on the sketch! Sorry some of the pictures appear a little hazy…the sun was no cooperating with me when I took these.

Thanks for swinging by my little piece of scrappy paradise! Have a great day!

August Double Page Sketch from Stick it Down

August’s summer days and heat are here, maybe it’s time for you to escape inside to enjoy some air conditioning and scrapbook! Haha!

Here’s our sketch from Stick It Down this month!

Here’s what I came up with:

This month I got to document my sweet niece Natalie’s birth! Isn’t she precious? Babies are such incredible gifts from our Heavenly Father, and of course they should be documented in scrapbooks 😉

Thanks so much for swinging by my blog today! I hope you get a chance to scrapbook this month!

July Double Page Post from Stick It Down

How did we make it to July already?! Wowza! Summer is flying by!

As you’re out an about enjoying a nice 4th of July hotdog, you’re probably not thinking about Easter like I was this month. However, in the scrapbooking world sometimes we’re a little behind on our holidays…

So here’s me documenting last years Easter festivities 😉

To help me with this layout I used a double page sketch from Stick It Down. Our designer Lauren is always remarkable creative with these sketches. Take a look:

Maybe this will bring back some fun Easter memories for you too! Happy Scrapping!

Challenge YOUrself Challenge

I was so excited to squeeze one last challenge into the month of June! Whooo! And it’s a BEACH challenge! Extra YAY! As soon as I saw this mood board, I knew I had to play along because I have soooo many photos from Hawaii that still need to be documented.

So thanks for helping me get another layout finished @Challenge YOUrself! 😉

Here’s the great mood board they had to work with:

And here’s the layout I came up with:

I was inspired to create a grid-type layout from a layout by Paige Evans that I had seen earlier. I think it worked out great with my bright colors and ocean themed papers!

Thanks for swinging by and looking at my work!

Scrappy Friends Single Page Challenge:

I found some quiet time to scrapbook today and found a fun challenge at Rochelle Spears’ blog and Scrap With Stacy‘s Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge! Here is the sketch from Rochelle’s blog and Tic-Tac-Toe board from Stacy’s blog. Thanks for the wonderful inspiration ladies!

I used Ink Splatter, Washi Tape and Stickers to. complete this challenge (the far right column!).

Here’s my layout! This is a faith based layout of my daughter and her Grandpa reading his Bible together one morning at the cabin. I hope my daughter will forever cherish these photos like I do.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my layout!
