Spring is a busy birthday season for my family! We seem to have a massive pile up of people to celebrate during the first half of the year. I figured compiling all the photos all in one layout and documenting “family birthday season” might bring us a smile when we look back on this page in a few years
This month The Scraproom sent me the “Balloons & Banners” collection from Doodlebug and I knew it would help me catch up on a few birthday photos that hadn’t been scrapbooked! 🙂
I had been wanting to create a layout featuring a fringe design, so I took the bright blue and green papers from the collection and cut some fringes on the sides. I then tucked embellishments into the fringe parts and added some fun enamel dots.
Can you spot our rotating birthday hat? My mom and I found this obnoxious (but fun!) cake hat and now it’s become a family tradition that the birthday person must wear the hat during the party.
