June Double Page Sketch from Stick It Down

Summmmerrr! You’re finally here! Let’s start off the best time of year with a fun sketch! Do you struggle to find time to scrap in the summer? I always try to take advantage of those rainy days and scrap! But then get back out in the sunshine!

Here’s our sketch for Stick It Down this month:

Here’s what I created!

This month I scrapped some photos of my brother and sister-in-laws gender reveal party! We were so excited to welcome another beautiful baby girl into our family this February! Baby Natalie we love you!

I hope you get a chance to join us this month and that you enjoy some gorgeous sunshine! 🙂

May Double Page Sketch from Stick It Down

Happy May Day! Oh how I love the month of May! It’s probably my favorite month of the year! My birthday, National Scrapbook Day, Mother’s Day, the end of another school year…all these wonderful things happen in May!

Ok ok, I’ll stop rambling about May! Haha! Here’s our fun sketch for the month from Stick It Down!

I decided to use this sketch to document a fun weekend spent with my in-laws last summer!

I love that the spring-y colors of this paper worked so well with the colors in my photos.

I hope this layout has inspired you to do some scrapbooking today! Grab those photos and paper and get busy! 🙂

Have a fantastic day and thanks for swinging by my blog!

April Double Page Layout from Stick It Down

Welcome to April! Spring is officially here!! I’m so excited to welcome spring and take some adorable Easter photos of my daughter this year. Last year we had snow for Easter, so I’m hoping this year we can see some green grass! 🙂

Here’s our sketch challenges from Stick It Down this month:

Here’s my take on the sketch! I decided the block squares in the sketch looked like this adorable paper from Echo Park that I had in my baby girl scrapbooking stash. I decided to use it to scrapbook a baby shower that was thrown for me. I think it turned out pretty cute! Can you spot “Andie” in block letters on the side?

As always, thanks so much for swinging by my blog this month! I hope you can join us for the sketch challenge too!

Guest Designer at Lasting Memories Week 5

Week 5 of the wonderful month of March! It’s been a great month of fun guest designing for Lasting Memories and I hope you feel inspired to play along! Sketch challenges are always so fun!

My family and I love to fish so I took this fishing theme and ran with it! This past summer my sister in law and I were both pregnant, but we still found a quiet moment to catch a few sunfish off the dock! So here’s our funny “Pregnant women fishing” layout!

Ahhh such good memories! This makes me excited that summer is almost here! Bring on those warmer temps!

Thanks for joining me this month for Lasting Memories’ fun challenges! I hope you’ll join me again here at bethanyroisland.com again next month! Have a great week!

Guest Designer at Lasting Memories Week 4

Week 4 of our fun challenges over at Lasting Memories! I hope you’ve been able to try out some of these fun sketches! Since it’s another new week here we go with another new fun sketch!

I absolutely LOVE scrapbooking my little daughter named Andie! I’ve just started getting to some of the really fun photos! Here are some of the very first photos I took of her once we made it home from the hospital! She was so tiny!

Thanks for swinging by my blog and allowing me to go down memory lane a little bit! Haha! They don’t stay tiny long do they? 🙂

Come back next week to check out another fun new sketch and some inspiration from me!

Guest Designer at Lasting Memories Week 3

Are you still following along with me this month? We have a fun double page sketch to highlight this week that I think you’ll like to try! Here’s the sketch from the wonderful Lasting Memories blog:

I ended up using this sketch to document my amazing husband’s deck remodel project from last summer! We weren’t originally planning on updating our deck, but once our travel plans were cancelled due to COVID we thought, why not?! I’m so glad we did! It’s been a wonderful change.

Here’s my take on the sketch:

I hope your creative gears are turning and that you give this sketch a try! Thanks for looking!

March Double Page Sketch from Stick It Down

Whoooo March! Here in Minnesota the temperatures start becoming more favorable and spring seems to be near! Although we certainly can have our fair bit of snow in March, it’s still one step closer to spring!

This month we have a really neat geometric sketch from Stick It Down that I loved creating a layout for!

Aren’t those triangles just the coolest?? Here’s what I came up with!

This is another layout that I chose to use my FUSE tool and add some more photos on the underside. Can you spot the plastic of my page protector? It’s pretty challenging to eliminate that glare from the lights sometimes, but using my FUSE is still worth it!

If you’re curious what a FUSE tool is check out my YOUTUBE video here. I explain briefly how to use it, but how I choose to use it on my scrapbook layouts.

As always thanks for swinging by my little corner of the internet! Make sure to leave me a comment telling me how you’re going to use this sketch to document some of your memories!
