March Double Page Sketch from Stick It Down

Is it spring yet? Unfortunately, winter tends to stick around a lot longer than I prefer here in Minnesota. So how about a happy, cheery layout to brighten your day?

Here’s my layout!

I’m reminiscing some fun beach memories from Florida last year! This was my little ladies first trip to the ocean so I knew that I needed to preserve this moment! Unfortunately there was a red tide warning so swimming wasn’t an option, but she still got to dip her toes in!

I hope you get to play along with us this month! Thanks for swinging by my blog!

February Double Page Sketch from Stick It Down

Welcome to February! Lauren Mularkey is our layout designer and she has another fabulous sketch for us this month. I love that Stick It Down is one of the few blogs that still has double page sketches!

I’m still working through the Christmas season of 2020 so here’s yet another Christmas layout! Every year I try and preserve one of our families Christmas cards so, I included that on this layout too. I’ve been loving this new Christmas line by Vickie Boutin called “Warm Wishes”.

Thanks so much for swinging by my blog and spending time looking! I hope you join me at the rest of the Stick It Down team to play along with our challenge this month!

January Double Page Sketch from Stick It Down

Welcome to a new year! 2022! Isn’t that a crazy thought? Well, ready or not here we go with another sketch from Stick It Down! This one is a cute one too!

I’m working on staying at least one year ahead with my scrapping but it’s getting to be a challenge! I guess anything is better than nothing right? Here’s Christmas of 2020:

My sweet little Andie was so so little! This Christmas will be must more lively now that she’s walking!

Thanks for swinging by!

December Challenges:

Scrap Our Stash had an adorably cute sketch challenge that I had the perfect photos for! I loved taking photos of my little lady in her adorable overalls last year so now they will be forever in my scrapbook.

Here’s their fun sketch that I used:

Instead of circles, I decided to go with a “cloud” theme. I also included twine to complete the challenge.

Wasn’t she a cutie? She still is, just a little older now! Thanks for swinging by my website & viewing my work! Have a blessed December! Jesus is the Reason for the Season!

December Double Page Sketch from Stick It Down

Yay!! It’s almost Christmas! Isn’t the month of December just such a fun month? I love the magic that seems to be in the air at Christmas. And most importantly I love celebrating Jesus!

We have a really wonderful sketch this month! Our designer at Stick It Down, Lauren Mularkey, always does such a fabulous job creating these! Here’s what we get to work with this month:

I decided to document Andie’s first Christmas and I think this page turned out just adorably! She was such a little peanut, but now she is growing like crazy! This Christmas will be extra fun 😉

Thanks so much for swinging by my website! I pray that you too will have a blessed Christmas and enjoy the true season of giving! God Bless!

Thanksgiving Themed Layouts!

Happy (early) Thanksgiving! I just finished scrapping a few Thanksgiving-themed layouts from last year and I thought I would share them with you guys!

This first one I entered in @scrapwithstacy’s Tic-Tac-Toe challenge. I used the middle column to complete the challenge. I fussy cut out the pink leaf peeking behind the photos. Thanks Stacy for the fun!

Current Scrappy Friends Challenge

My second layout is highlighting one of Paige Evans’ fun cut files. We were so grateful to have our little peanut arrive safely and healthy last October. Sketches in Thyme had a great sketch that allowed me to use the cut file and photo, while having the title below both. Here’s the sketch:

And here’s my layout:

Thanks so much for swinging by and checking out my work! I would love to hear from you! Comment below and let me know how you and your family enjoy spending Thanksgiving. God Bless!

November Double Page Sketch from Stick It Down

And here we go into November….and all things holiday related! YAY! I’ve always loved the holidays and yes my Christmas tree is up lonnggg before December. Anyway, we have another fun sketch for you this month at Stick It Down!

I’m a little ahead (or behind) on my seasons, so I’m actually scrapbooking Valentine’s Day! Haha! That’s the great thing about scrapbooking is you can celebrate different things all throughout the year 😉

Here’s what I came up with!

She’s adorable isn’t she? I’m so grateful for her every day! Hope you can join us in our challenge this month!

October Double Page Sketch from Stick It Down

Welcome to October! Every year I think of the Anne of Green Gables quote, “I’m so glad to live in a world where there are Octobers!” I’ve always loved the fall for it’s beautiful colors, BUT now I also love it because my baby girl was born in this wonderful month! She gets to celebrate her 1st birthday in a few weeks! YAY!

To commemorate her first year, I’ve been scrapping her baby photos like crazy! Hopefully I can keep up with my kids’ scrapping as the years go by!

Here’s the Stick IT Down sketch that I used for inspiration:

And here is what my layout turned out like! Man, was she tiny! You can see that I exchanged that elephant embellishment in place of a photo. With the photos I had, it just seemed to work better.

Thanks so much for swinging by my blog! I hope you’re feeling inspired and that you join our challenge this month! Have a wonderful October 🙂

September Scrap Our Stash Challenge

I couldn’t pass up playing along with Scrap Our Stash’s monthly challenge. I loved their fun sketch! Check it out here below before scrolling down to see what I came up with. Here’s the link for their challenge: http://scrapourstash.blogspot.com/

Here’s the layout that I created! My daughter was quite the puker (I’m sure she’ll love me for creating this page later!) so I had to document when my husband caught quite the spit up after one of her feedings!

Thanks for swinging by to look!

September Double Page Sketch from Stick It Down

Month number 9 of 2021 is here! And lookout, I have an adorable page to show off today…I’m totally biased but all of my baby girl’s pages are just too stinking cute! 🙂

But, before I reveal my fabulous page for the month let’s look at our sketch from Stick it Down!

Cute right? I loved the flowers and decided to copy them! Here’s what I created:

Isn’t my baby (who’s now 11 months!) just the cutest thing ever?! Proud Mama over here! 🙂

I hope this layout inspired you to create something fun for yourself this month! Thanks for swinging by!
