July Double Page Post from Stick It Down

How did we make it to July already?! Wowza! Summer is flying by!

As you’re out an about enjoying a nice 4th of July hotdog, you’re probably not thinking about Easter like I was this month. However, in the scrapbooking world sometimes we’re a little behind on our holidays…

So here’s me documenting last years Easter festivities 😉

To help me with this layout I used a double page sketch from Stick It Down. Our designer Lauren is always remarkable creative with these sketches. Take a look:

Maybe this will bring back some fun Easter memories for you too! Happy Scrapping!

Challenge YOUrself Challenge

I was so excited to squeeze one last challenge into the month of June! Whooo! And it’s a BEACH challenge! Extra YAY! As soon as I saw this mood board, I knew I had to play along because I have soooo many photos from Hawaii that still need to be documented.

So thanks for helping me get another layout finished @Challenge YOUrself! 😉

Here’s the great mood board they had to work with:

And here’s the layout I came up with:

I was inspired to create a grid-type layout from a layout by Paige Evans that I had seen earlier. I think it worked out great with my bright colors and ocean themed papers!

Thanks for swinging by and looking at my work!

Scrappy Friends Single Page Challenge:

I found some quiet time to scrapbook today and found a fun challenge at Rochelle Spears’ blog and Scrap With Stacy‘s Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge! Here is the sketch from Rochelle’s blog and Tic-Tac-Toe board from Stacy’s blog. Thanks for the wonderful inspiration ladies!

I used Ink Splatter, Washi Tape and Stickers to. complete this challenge (the far right column!).

Here’s my layout! This is a faith based layout of my daughter and her Grandpa reading his Bible together one morning at the cabin. I hope my daughter will forever cherish these photos like I do.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my layout!

June Double Page Sketch from Stick It Down

Summer is officially here! Ahh I can’t wait for some beautiful days at the lake and some fresh burgers on the grill! Do you have a favorite summer activity too?

Well to kick off our summer properly, let’s look at our fun new sketch from Stick It Down!

I love working with cut files, so I chose to add a heart in the center of this layout. Here’s what I came up with:

What a fun memory! I loved having our friends come last Valentine’s Day!

I hope you find a spare moment this summer to scrapbook along with us! Thanks for taking a peek at my blog! I’d love to hear your comments and feedback!

May Scrap With Stacy Challenge:

Yay for May! I see sunshine, clear skies and lots of flowers about to bloom! So grateful to put an end to those cold winter months. I had a few spare moments and decided to whip up a page to go along with Stacy’s challenge. Here’s what I came up with:

Here’s Stacy’s Tic Tac Toe board:

To complete the challenge I used the middle column. A Banner, Twine and painted/misted some ink on my layout. I hope you have some time to join Stacy’s fun challenge this month too.

Thanks for swinging by my blog! 🙂

May Double Page Sketch from Stick It Down

MAY! My favorite month of the year! Where flowers start blooming, the sun starts coming out more often and spring in Minnesota is in full swing. I hope you like May as much as I do and that you get some time to maybe even plant a few flowers to brighten up your space.

Let’s check out this months sketch at Stick It Down!

I chose to rotate the 3 tags on the right hand page. To me it made the page feel more fluid.

I used some pretty bright colors since I was documenting a trip to Florida. If you’re ever visiting Naples, Florida make sure to swing by the Naples Botanical Gardens! They are absolutely stunning!

Thanks for taking the time to view my scrapbooking! I am so passionate about this hobby, so I hope I can pass along some of that passion to you as well. Have a great month!

April Double Page Sketch from Stick It Down

April showers bring May flowers! I’m excited we’re one month closer to summer! We have another fun sketch this month! Are you ready to see it!

Here’s what I came up with!

We had a fun weekend on Lake Sinclair last April! It’s always so fun to be reunited with good friends.

Thanks for swinging by my blog this month! I value your views and comments!

March Double Page Sketch from Stick It Down

Is it spring yet? Unfortunately, winter tends to stick around a lot longer than I prefer here in Minnesota. So how about a happy, cheery layout to brighten your day?

Here’s my layout!

I’m reminiscing some fun beach memories from Florida last year! This was my little ladies first trip to the ocean so I knew that I needed to preserve this moment! Unfortunately there was a red tide warning so swimming wasn’t an option, but she still got to dip her toes in!

I hope you get to play along with us this month! Thanks for swinging by my blog!

February Double Page Sketch from Stick It Down

Welcome to February! Lauren Mularkey is our layout designer and she has another fabulous sketch for us this month. I love that Stick It Down is one of the few blogs that still has double page sketches!

I’m still working through the Christmas season of 2020 so here’s yet another Christmas layout! Every year I try and preserve one of our families Christmas cards so, I included that on this layout too. I’ve been loving this new Christmas line by Vickie Boutin called “Warm Wishes”.

Thanks so much for swinging by my blog and spending time looking! I hope you join me at the rest of the Stick It Down team to play along with our challenge this month!

January Double Page Sketch from Stick It Down

Welcome to a new year! 2022! Isn’t that a crazy thought? Well, ready or not here we go with another sketch from Stick It Down! This one is a cute one too!

I’m working on staying at least one year ahead with my scrapping but it’s getting to be a challenge! I guess anything is better than nothing right? Here’s Christmas of 2020:

My sweet little Andie was so so little! This Christmas will be must more lively now that she’s walking!

Thanks for swinging by!
