Since it’s winter, I’ve got all sorts of time to scrapbook — so here’s another layout for the month!
My design team The Scraproom sent me an incredible kit including the “Simple Stories Take Note” collection. I love ANYTHING Simple Stories, so I was excited to play with this collection too.
Ok here we go! These are pictures of my now 2 year old, when she was such a tiny baby! It’s so incredible to see how much kids grow and change over the years. I think that’s why I love the hobby of scrapbooking so much — it helps me focus on the positive things in life!
To get me jumpstarted I chose to use the sketch of the month for the left page. Sometimes visualizing a sketch really helps my creative juices start flowing. 🙂 For the right side, I just began layering and arranging the photos and finally landed on this design. I fussy cut out some flowers from one of the patterned papers included in the kit and threw some paint on the background paper to make it fun!
I think it turned out super cute — and now I need to scrapbook a matching layout featuring my other daughter. Be on the lookout for that one because she had quite the personality during this photo shoot 🙂
