Spring is on the horizon! I’m looking forward to some beautiful spring weather!
This month, my subscription for The Scraproom came with an adorable birthday collection — featuring puppies! My 5 year-old is a huge puppy fan and insisted on having a 101 Dalmatians birthday last fall. I love it when collections seem to just line up so well with the theme of my photos!
To get started, I fell in love with the idea of adding some whimsical balloons to the layout. Within the “Party Animal” collection, there’s a fantastic patterned paper with cute balloon clusters — that became my inspiration for the page.
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out some ovals and a heart, but you could easily do this by hand too! Then I roughed up the edges and added some twine for the strings. Final step — add all the puppies possible! Haha! My daughter was thrilled when I showed her how it turned out 🙂
