July Double-Page Sketch from Stick it Down

How is summer halfway over? I don’t even want to think about it — but the good news is that I scrapbook all year round, so the fun continues 🙂 Here’s the double-page sketch from Stick It down for the month!

In typical summer fashion, I have more camping layouts to document! I love camping and all sorts of outdoor adventures, so looking back at these moments brings me such joy. This layout is about a camping trip in Ely, Minnesota. In order to make it look rustic, I hand-cut and distressed the title. Then, I added lots of little embellishments behind the title to give it a fun vibe.

It was such a great opportunity for me to use up lots of smaller photos from this trip. I’ve learned over my years of scrapbooking that even though a photo may be small, it can still trigger memories. Smaller photos also help minimize my tendency to overload a layout with too many pictures. 🙂

I hope you try out this collage double-page layout! It was a fun one to create! Happy Scrapping!
